One person in about every 500 has Parkinson’s, that’s 133,150 people in the UK.

Symptoms – and how quickly they progress – are different for every individual. Currently there is no cure but drugs and treatments are available to manage many of the symptoms.

1 in 20 people diagnosed with Parkinson’s are under 40. We need to make people more aware.

The news from last week’s auction was that once again there were good levels of activity in the room and 71% of the lots offered actually sold.

The selection of smaller two/three bedroom houses in particular were sought after and the number of people bidding for these was very encouraging.

With the Easter break in between it has given me the opportunity to have a closer look at the actual figures, which reveals that on average we achieved 18.95% above the guide prices. It just goes to show that property does not necessarily sell cheap at auction.
